So, I just recently went to a local local doll meet, buncha nice ladies and gents we got going on :D But what sparked me was they have a little donation freebie box. I donated some of my knitted scarves (dolly sized) and took a look around.

Someone in the group either previously or still works at a Jo-Ann’s and was offering fabric rolls! When I saw this purple, I had to grab it! Rea needed a new outfit! And thus his scholar robes are here! A little bit of beads and fabric pant and it should be all said and good!

If they ever find this post I just want to thank them again for it! Best excuse for me to rev up the sewing machine again!

So, storyline wise these two finally hooked up ‘legally’ but the dolls basically haven’t interacted for some time. HAD TO FIND AN EXCUSE TO GET SAPPY, CUTE AND LOVEY DOVEY PICTURES!

… Now to change my background on just about everything I own that can do that.

Also need to work on setting up proper backgrounds/drops and more clothing for them.. Bad enough his little minion still isn’t full costume yet..

Not that big of a deal but finally, after almost 6 months, my dollies and I are moved into our new home. For the past week they were living in their traveling box on wheels (scrap book tote) so with no more contractors and other strangers coming in, they can come out and find places in my room.

Rea just might get my windowsil, on account of not having to worry about him yellowing. The other two however.. I’ll find someplace for them~

Cosplay is done, going to NYCC this weekend!

I added more detail to my doll’s ‘cosplay’ robe. Some beads here and there. Along the sleeves and down the front of the robe.

Sadly, given my schedule of my own cosplay of Heavy from Team Fortress 2 on Saturday.. I’ll be bringing this 70cm bad boy on Friday. Sucks I can’t bring him Saturday as well, there IS going to be Vertigo panel and damnit, I’d love to show him to them..

Sunday looks like I’ll be bringing my MSD LUTs Hoodoo boy, Graham but we’ll see. If Rea here is a big hit, maybe I’ll bring him back Sunday.

Any of you going? There is a DoA thread where people are discussing if there’s going to be a gathering or a get together around the Soom booth or somewhere.. At least, I think. We shall see.

Yes, I bought him a Matthew..

So.. I’ve been working on the side, to keep myself busy from not living in a house yet, to make a cosplay costume for my boy here. As mentioned before he’s been mistaken as Dream of The Endless for almost a year now.. In that span, I’ve read just about every Sandman story you can think of..

Yeeaahhh… You see where it’s going.

I’m trying to make his costume based off the graphic novel of The Dream Hunters. As in the artwork by P. Craig Russell and not the original story release by Yoshitaka Amano, his artwork will always be beautiful but it’s not the look for my doll here~

SO! Heres hoping it’ll come out alright in the end… and maybe if I’m creative and not disgusting enough I can think of trying to make a Despair cosplay work..

I didn’t get the shots I wanted but it’s better than nothing at all.

My problem is, my E.I.D here does not like to stand on ANYTHING but granite.. Carpet, concrete, grass.. Nothing but the fancy shit for him.. I wanted more stand alone, wandering type affect photos.. but.. Oh well.. Maybe another time.. Also, after I finish construction of his ‘mount’. Ha ha!

So, still being without a house I decided to take advantage of the area I’m living in at the moment. The ‘village’ I’m staying at has beautiful forresty like surroundings and I while the weather is still good I want to put Rea in nice setting for once.

The woods not too far away from the house slightly remind me of some area’s of Brill… Or Tirisfal Glades… Um.. Both are from World of Warcraft which the character is based so yeah..

I feel as if I should wait until it’s fall to get a more ‘dead’ like affect but, eh, I want to take more ‘serious’ photo’s of the bastard.. That AREN’T taken in a house.

We shall see~

A challenger has appeared!

I don’t think I’ve mentioned that I got a new BJD in my mix of living out of a retaliative house, waiting for my new house to be fixed up and over all get my life back together.

So, yes. Rea now has a little buddy aside from my little Cherish.. who I still need to fix.. Oh god the guilt burns!

Anyway. The little boy here is Graham, who is a twin to my friends matching BJD Avery. They’re both LUTs Kid Delf Hoodo. I might get into more detail with them another time. There’s a whole background with them going on. Merged with my my friends story with their androids and just.. Yeah, it’s fun but you need to hear a story to totally get it~

I’m guessing the last photo story I did with the 8 pound, blue skinned dick cheese was posted.. I’m up for doing another response soon but life is finally looking up. Rea and I will have a ‘home’ again.. Although I’m sure he’ll be upset since he’s been living with his boyfriend.. and about 12 other BJDs at my girlfriends house for the past month.
